Who controls your data
The data controller and seller for this service is ZodiacForYou. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
Data we collect
When you purchase a report, we collect the name and email address you submit, birth date, optional birth time, birth city and country, calculated chart facts, the generated report, consent records, and operational payment and delivery references. Stripe processes card and payment-method details; ZodiacForYou does not receive or store full card details.
We also use an essential session cookie for form security and may process limited server information such as IP address, request time, and security logs. We currently do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To create, deliver, support, and secure the report you purchased and to perform our contract with you.
- To confirm payment, prevent duplicate fulfillment and abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service.
- To meet accounting, consumer-protection, tax, dispute, and other legal obligations that apply to the seller.
We do not use birth details or report content for advertising, sell them, or make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Astrology content is provided for reflection and entertainment.
Service providers
We use carefully scoped providers to operate the service:
- A hosted payment processor receives checkout and payment information plus a non-public order reference.
- A chart-calculation provider receives the birth inputs and coordinates needed to calculate chart placements.
- An automated writing provider receives normalized chart facts; it is not sent your name, email, exact birth date/time, location, coordinates, payment information, or private report URL by this application.
- A transactional email provider receives your email address, first name, and private report URL to send the ready notification.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data as needed to serve and secure the website.
Providers may process data in other countries. Where applicable, the seller must use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for international transfers.
Retention
- Unpaid, abandoned report orders are deleted after 30 days.
- Raw birth inputs, coordinates, timezone, and stored chart facts are removed 30 days after a report is ready or a paid generation has failed.
- The final report, private link, contact details, checkout-acceptance record, and delivery references are retained for up to 730 days, then the application order row is deleted.
- The payment processor or separate accounting records may retain transaction information for periods required by accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and consumer law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information when legally required.
Keep your private report URL confidential: possession of that high-entropy link grants access to the report. Contact us promptly if you believe it has been exposed.
Changes
Material changes will be published here with a new policy date. The policy date accepted for a purchase is stored with that order until the order itself is deleted.
